Herman Miller

Work Modes Study

CAMA developed a paper around a series of work modes to capture the types of communication and teaming occurring in the clinical world that must be designed for by overlaying relevant research with illustrative visual and spatial layouts.

We were contracted to enhance the preliminary work done by Herman Miller’s Living Office Work Modes and conducted a Design Charrette with the Herman Miller team.

As part of our work, we conducted an analysis of some of the key drivers that can negatively impact or prevent cohesion within the patient care team that can frame the conversation from which design interventions can emerge.

This research was then applied to further understanding and thinking about how to improve a particular product line for the company.
