Favorite Ice Cream

White Pistachio. Found usually at a good old-fashioned creamery, I love the juxtaposition of creamy and crunchy, sweet and salty.

What Makes Me Passionate About Design

I love the camaraderie we share that delivers thoughtful, evidence-based design environments where our clients and their guests can thrive and flourish. Each team member has a unique gift of inquisitiveness that adds a richness to our group brain.

Favorite Ice Cream

Pistachio ice cream -- at least from the really good brands. I love its creamy delicious texture interrupted by the prize of the crunchy nut.

What Makes Me Passionate About Design

Interior design is composed of many tasks that keep every project fresh--each day is a new series of inquiries into products or client needs. These interactions bring unique issues to the table requiring creative problem solving and we do it with things like color and furniture and use of space to make people live better lives.

Favorite Ice Cream

My favorite ice cream is Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup. Chocolate not only stimulates the heart, but protects it as well.

What makes me passionate about design?

I love the people I work with! I also love creating soothing environments and more functional spaces that enhance the human experience.

Favorite Ice Cream

I never met an ice cream flavor that I didn’t like, but if I had to choose, blueberry ice cream from the UCONN Dairy Serve.

What makes me passionate about design?

I love the excitement I feel in the pit of my stomach as I embark on a new design project.  The creative process, the act of putting pen to paper (or mouse to computer), never ceases to amaze me, surprising me every time.  I love watching how a design evolves, often leading me places I didn’t even realize I was going.

Striving for CAMAraderie enables us to work together more effectively with one another, our partners, and our clients. CAMAraderie is synonymous with CAMA culture.

We are a diverse team of sailors, singers, art history buffs, dog-lovers, mothers, runners, ping pong champions, painters, gardeners, cooks, book worms, softball players—the list goes on.

Favorite Ice Cream

I, like Liz, adore ice cream.  Bacio (or chocolate hazelnut) gelato from Gelato Paradiso in my hometown in California is an all-time favorite that I often pair with their coconut, blood orange, or almond gelato.  I also had this incredible pine nut gelato in Italy.

What makes me passionate about design?

With a background in public health and business, I relish being engaged in projects that challenge our current operational models around health and wellbeing and that enable me to think about how we might strategically redesign the way in which health care is delivered. I love having the opportunity to immerse myself in an environment that prioritizes intellectual rigor, unwavering curiosity, and passionate engagement with clients in order to deliver real results for them.

Favorite Ice Cream

My favorite ice cream is chocolate. It’s simple: I like it and I know what I’m getting. I do not like to co-mingle foods or flavors.

What makes me passionate about design?

Everybody is inclusive around what is going on with all of our projects. You are made to feel like your opinion counts and people here take the time to explain something if you have a question.

Favorite Ice Cream

Mint Chocolate Chip because it’s chocolaty in a refreshing way and because that’s all I ate when I was a kid!

What makes me passionate about design?

What excites me about working at CAMA is not about the objects that we put into spaces, but how we are constantly thinking about new ways to create environments that help us be healthy, in all its various forms.

Ellen Kebabian, Allied ASID

Ambassador and Design Coordinator

Favorite Ice Cream

I don’t eat ‘real’ ice cream, but there are a couple of brands that create a delightful tasting chocolate coconut ice cream. Chocolate will hands down always be my favorite.

What makes me passionate about design?

Straight out of college, I knew I was meant to be in the design world. CAMA offers me a full understanding of what that implies, and I know every day I will learn something/multiple things that will project me beautifully into this unparalleled world.

But, it is our shared passion for design that brings us together—along with celebrations involving birthday cake!
